Recipe ratings
If you rate a recipe, the site records which recipe you rated, your rating from 1 to 5 stars and the date. This information calculates the average shown to other visitors. The rating form does not ask for your name or email address. Ratings remain stored to display the averages; there is no automatic deletion schedule.
The cookie we use
After you rate a recipe, the site stores a functional cookie named barres-vote. It keeps a list of recipes already rated in your browser to prevent repeat votes from that browser. It lasts up to one year. It is only sent to this site, cannot be read by page JavaScript and is not used for analytics or advertising. You can delete it in your browser settings; this will not remove a rating already submitted.
Loading the site
As with any website, your visit involves technical communication with the host to display pages and photos. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google. The site code includes no audience analytics or advertising.
